FYI
Have a mini Titan e325 that shakes a lot when spooling down the rotor blades. A little less when bringing the throttle stick down slowly but a lot
when shutting down with throttle hold. This being on a hard surface. I dicovered that when I took off those small rubber donuts for the landing skids that came with the kit, everything became very smooth, when spooling down on a hard surface. Not even a hint of shaking now with those donuts off !!!
Hope this can help someone else.

Had the Sceadu out for one tank today and tore up the sky!

I don't know why I haven't upgraded my 1000mah NiCd RX pack! AHHHHH!

Lost my muffler deflector on takeoff too!

Also tore up the sky with my reactor bipe and the ground with my FG baja!

FUN FUN!

F.Y.I. One more time .........
I thought I would pass along a few things learned or discovered about my stock Mini Titan E325. I am just an average week-end sport flyer, that just fly's around with a few
loops and rolls thrown in. 3D , probly can never get that good. What follows may be common knowledge already.

1. Tri-Flow is by far the best lubricante I have used on the Heli. Also, spraying silicone lubricant on the tail rotor drive belt makes it run smoother and I get at least another minute of flight time useing the spray.
2. I am useing the Hitec gyro and servo combo but always had a slight tail wag that drove me nuts. I discovered the control rod that came with the kit was able to FLEX, so I got a carbon fiber tube with a opening that I could slip and glue the stock rod into. Now the control rod is very stiff and the gyro works much, much better.Any tail wag completly gone.
3. Didn't want to spend the $$ but I did buy CY RADIX blades. Wow, I think it made a big difference over the wood blades. Much smoother and seems to be more stable.

4. After reading about pitch an throttle curves in R/C Heli mag and asking questions at the flying field, and doing lots of testing, I found these pitch and throttle curves to be damn near perfect for beginer to intermidate flyer. Very docile handling and very stable flight. This on a DX7 Xmiter
Normal : Throttle : expo 'on' 0 52 70 80 90 %
Pitch : -4 0 +10

Idle up : Throttle : Expo 'on' 90 inh 75 inh 90 %
Pitch : -10 0 +10
You can switch between normal and idle up with no rotor speed change from mid stick up
(also useing 12 tooth pinion instead of supplied 13)
Batt. and motor run much cooler with the 12 tooth pinion !

That's it

Sounds good, roger.

Today, me and my two friends Aaron and Tony met up at 9 a.m. at the field for heli-tivities.
Aaron is flying very well now and has graduated from the buddycord. He has advanced to stall turns of different types{180-540-900 with some collective changes at the vertical position} and also doing loops and very FFF with a little help from the wind.
Nice job, Aaron.

My friend tony is also doing very well and has progressed to FF. He doesn't have the luxury of the buddycord but is doing very well considering.
Although, he did make me do the two step shuffle today. Can't really answer for his actions but I knew I was ready to dive if necesarry.
He did a great job and didn't panic all the while keeping the heli up in the air.

My flights today were.....

..... The usual fun, fun, fun. Naked FBL heli-flying is so much fun.

Today I kileed my 1/4 scale gasser plank. Pile driver into the ground. The engine was embedded below the ground surface..... It was a fun flight up until that point. Plank was not salvageable. It was my best plank smackdown yet.

Had three flights on my heli. I love NOE FBL.

I was doing a descending continuous roll. I was too low at the inverted point and trying to pull out inverted probably would have crashed it into the pits, so I pulled full up elevator and straight in it went.
Pilot error was the cause, but what the heli, I'm a helicopter guy anyways.
Definitely a spectacular lawn dart. Sorry, no pics, but the plank is in the 55 gal. burn barrel.
