Well the build of the heli went fine it took about five hr. with all the loctite and finding a good place for all the elct. i put the esc under the batt. plate like the book showed but i had to mount the rx under the heli the ar7000 is a bit big and the wip up to the gyro plate just below the gyro and then i took it to my local hobby shop to have it looked at and set up so im going to pick it up saterday and get a crash corse in the set up on the neli and tx so wish me luck and happy hovering !!!

On you first attempt put some training gear on and take it slow and easy, Slowly increase the collective until the heli is light on the skids to get a feel for what it's going to do.
Good luck.

Glad to hear it's all comming together for you.

Like everyone is saying, take it slow and easy. This is somewhere that baby steps is good. And don't let your buddy convince you to fly loops either! LOL.

I can't help much with this. One thing I will say is NEVER leave your batteries alone while charging and use some thing like a lipo sack http://www.readyheli.com/REat_Sleep... /lipo_bag.htm when charging
and don't run the battery all the way down.

You meant Bantam BC6 right? What batteries are you using? Then we can go from there. Certain batteries are going to need a different connection board than the one you got with the charger( if any).

This chart will tell you what the balance tap is for each battery. Then you need to get the right board for the tap. You can also get across over connector for similar batteries you are using.

Blax1 also has the same charger and will be able to chime in.

Anybody use this one? Since my battery supply seems to grow and I usually keep them in old coffee cans this might be nice. Holds 16 lipos.

I've been charging my batteries in a lipo sack similar to the one posted works fine, As for storage I just picked this up for $7 from my local surplus store.
