First Impressions: Futaba T8FG

We received the new Futaba T8FG today and I could not resist opening up the box and giving it a try. The T8FG is an eight-channel radio that is dedicated 2.4ghz. The radio features an Ipod like wheel to program the radio and enter your values. The radio programming is strait forward much like that of the 10C but has some additional features that many pilots would love to have. Three Idle up modes are available to use with two separate switches on top of the throttle hold. The screen is backlit and displays the current model, user name, and trim positions. The main screen can also be switch to display two timers that can keep track of your time in the air. Keep an eye out for a detailed review in the following issues of RCHELI Magazine.

T-REX 250SE Pics

Well, first came the 600, then the 700, now the 250 is getting the SE treatment. Alan Szabo Jr just posted these pics on his facebook. This one looks to include servos and gear as well. We'll look into it and as soon as we get more info we'll be sure to post.

New Align TREX 600 LE

Just pulled these pics of Alan Szabo's FB page. It's the new 600 Limited Edition that he's testing right now in Taiwan. Looks like a slightly new head design with elevator more like a 700. It's also shown with the new OS 55 HZ Hyper. Looks good. Can't wait for more details.
