Generally, this is a pretty good heli for the money, and Hobby People supports it very well.
There is little in the way of setup - just make sure the blades track well - very easy to do.
I bought the original design, so I replaced the main frame so I could get the advantage of a screw to assist with securing the tail boom. New models shouldn't have this problem.
The most significant problem I've had is glitchiness. This is particularly noticeable in the tail rotor motor. Strangely, it only seems to happen in my back yard - where I fly most. It didn't do this in the hobby shop. It almost sounds like the heli is being followed by a bumble bee as the tail motor revs and twitches with interference.
The main motor and batteries provide pretty good power.
The heli could use an alignment key to aid in ensuring the tail rotor is in-line with the the heli's frame and perpendicular to the main rotor. This is just a slip fit with "eye ball" alignment.
I've been able to advance my learning level pretty well with it. My biggest complaints would be the glitchiness and difficulties I've experienced gluing replacement parts so the glue will hold. CA really doesn't hold carbon fiber parts very well. I've been advised to use room temperature vulcanization (RTV) glue, available at supermarkets.
• Durable - main/tail rotors - never broken • Good flight duration on a battery charge • Inexpensive parts and good support
• Would be better if heli screwed together in more locations • Very glitchy - at least where I fly - not in the hobby shop for some reason • Carbon fiber parts fatigue and need replacement - even when not obviously damaged by a crash
