As coaxial helicopters go, this is a good helicopter. Upon receipt of my V3, I charged it up, tossed in some batteries, and was flying. It was not 100% stable at first, however. Even after trimming, I could not eliminate an increasing instability that caused it to move in ever increasing circles. It could be flown out at first, but became worse to the point of being uncontrollable. The stock blades are very fragile and I have broken all includes sets quickly. I bought more, broke them, and bought Xtreme blades. These eliminated the instability and it hovered perfect after that.

The other issue it had was the inner shaft could not retain the flybar after a few crashes. A cnc iner shaft upgrade resolved that. Lastly, the stock tail is very fragile. I opted to do the Xtreme sport conversion which replaces the tail, canopy, and landing gear, resulting in a pod & boom format. This makes the helicopter look more hobby grade verses the toyish look of the stock V3.

The mechanics are very durable, I have crashed many times and the servos, 4-in-1, and motors have all held up. I did end up replacing the plastic swash with the cnc upgrade after a crash broke a link ball off. The cnc swash does require link adjustment to work, it is not plug & play. It will not fly right without adjusting the links.

It does fly outside very well as long as it is calm or a very light breeze, but it is intended for indoor use. Using a computer tx really wakes it up.

This helicopter is good for beginners to learn basic orientation or for more advanced pilots who just want something fun to fly inside when the weather is not cooperating.
Hits Misses
• Very easy to fly
• Replacement parts are inexpensive
• Very well priced compared to it's competition
• Stock tail shatters like glass
• Sensative to setup
• Unflyable in wind above very mild breeze.
