Moving up from your stock woodies or wanting to try somthing different?I recommend trying the rotortech angled tip line of blades.I have 2 helis and fly the 550 and 600 sizes. You can't help but to love the apperance of these blades, beautiful carbon weave with painted yellow tips and trim. The blades arrive packed nicely, with cushion on each end of the package, and clear plastic static cling to keep the blades from getting damaged.the 550 size comes with spacers for different size grip bolts, and the 600 includes washers for different grip designs. The blades are perfectly balanced and ready to use right out of thr package. Also included is some 3-d type holographic decals that look very cool. Also made in the blade is a safety wire that runs the length
of the blade to keep it in one piece upon crashing protecting the pilot and bystanders from flying pieces.I happened to test this when i lost orientation one day.Yep it does work.

Flying:These blades are great, the airfoil, combined with the swept tip creates a fast accurate cyclic. The low drag design and the balance of these blades made autos a breeze. The 600 size wanted to float for days, and left a lot of energy for 3d autos as well. There is not anything these blades couldn't do.The special d-spar carbon and special resin asorbs all high-g spanwise loading.

In Short:These blades are great for the average pilot or for the hard core stick bangers. The fact that they are made with the safety wire is a definite plus. They are a beautiful blade in flight as well as sitting still. The 3d decals added some flair while in the air as well.
